How to choose a diet that works for you

Don’t just pick a diet because everybody else is doing it. Even if it helped your best friend lose 25 pounds, it doesn’t mean it’ll work for you. Look carefully at the program: can you see yourself doing it for several days, weeks, months even the rest of your life? There are a variety of diets available, so find one that allows you to eat the things you like (or at least provides a structure you can live with), otherwise you’ll be doomed from the start.
